In Anime Dice, Cash buys Luck, Luck gets you rarer characters, and rarer characters earn more Cash. Fill every plot slot first, then put your money into better dice. Everything else can wait until that loop is running.
The game is only a few months old and updates about weekly, so numbers can shift. The official Roblox page only covers the basics. Details here come from community guides dated September to November 2026, so check the game's own menus before making a big decision.
The basic loop
- Roll dice to get anime characters.
- Place your best characters on your plot.
- Your placed characters earn Cash, even while you are offline.
- Spend Cash on better dice and upgrades.
- Higher Luck gives you better rolls.
- Rebirth for bigger multipliers, then repeat.
The official page confirms offline earnings, so place your best earners before you leave. Those characters keep paying while you are gone.
Your first ten minutes
- Redeem any working codes before you spend anything. Codes give Lucky Spins, Trait Rerolls and Gems, and the newest one,
Update11, came with Update 11 on November 1, 2026. The box is at the bottom of the Shop menu, reached from the Shop button on the left. Our Anime Dice codes list has every working code. - Roll until every earning slot on your plot is full. A weak character is still better than an empty slot.
- Save your first Cash for the first dice upgrade instead of spreading it around.
- Like the game and join the group for updates, as the official page suggests.
Dice to buy first
Dice are your main Luck upgrade, and you buy them with Cash. A community list shows 22 dice in total. These are the early ones, as listed in late September 2026.
| Dice | Rarity | Luck | Cash price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fire | Uncommon | 5x | $2.5K |
| Water | Uncommon | 10x | $10K |
| Nature | Rare | 20x | $75K |
| Lightning | Rare | 42x | $500K |
| Ice | Rare | 100x | $4M |
Prices climb fast after that, and the list reaches Luck in the tens of millions at prices far beyond these. Do not stay on a weak dice just because you already built around it. Buy the next dice once you can afford it and your plot is full. If your plot still has empty slots, fill those first.
Do not upgrade everyone
A common beginner mistake is spending on every character you roll. Pick one or two of your best earners and focus on them. Let weaker characters fill the other slots until something better arrives.
A simple way to sort your collection:
| Group | What belongs here | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Keepers | Strong stats, good grade, trait or mutation | Upgrade them |
| Temporary earners | Fine for now, will be replaced | Place them, spend nothing |
| Sell pile | Weak duplicates with nothing special | Sell after checking them |
Traits, grades and mutations
These three systems sound alike, but they do different jobs.
Traits add an all-stat, Health, Damage or Money effect to one copy of a character. A Trait Reroll replaces the current trait, so only use rerolls on a character you plan to keep. Match the trait to the job. A Money trait suits a plot earner, while combat traits suit a Tower team.
Grades change a character's Income multiplier, and you roll them at the Grade station. A community list shows nine grades, including D, C, S, S+, Z and Z+. Grading a temporary starter is mostly a waste, so save serious attempts for long-term earners.
Mutations are separate from traits and can make a character much more valuable. Reported types include Silver, Gold, Emerald, Diamond, Ruby and Rainbow, plus size modifiers such as Huge and Titanic. Always inspect a character before you sell it. A copy that looks weak on paper can still be worth keeping.
Lucky Spins and Gems
Do not spend Lucky Spins the moment you get them. They do more once you have better dice, a stronger Luck multiplier, space in your inventory and steady income. Holding them until then gives each spin a better chance of paying off. Treat Gems and Trait Rerolls the same way, and keep them for characters you are sure about.
When to rebirth
Rebirth sets your Cash to zero and raises your Cash and Luck multipliers. A community guide reports that characters, Gems, Trait Rerolls, dice and upgrades stay with you, but that is reported behavior, so read the warning on screen before you confirm.
The cost is not a fixed number you can rely on. One guide mentions 50,000 Cash for a first rebirth, and another saw a $500M requirement at a later stage. Your own Rebirth panel is the only number that counts. It is the circular arrow button on the left, between the Shop and Index buttons.
Follow these steps when you are close:
- Check the required Cash and the next multipliers in the panel.
- If you have extra Cash above the requirement, spend the surplus on a dice or upgrade you already wanted. Any Cash left after confirming is gone.
- Press the green Rebirth button.
- Go back to your base and step on your unit platforms to collect or restart their earnings.
A good test is how fast you can rebuild. If your team can earn your old Cash level back within a few minutes, the reset is probably worth it. If it would take a very long time, keep building first.
When to try Tower
Your plot rewards Money and Luck, while Tower rewards Damage and Health. It also pays Gems and other long-term resources, so you should not ignore it. Wait until your income is steady, then use Equip Best and make sure no team slot is empty before you enter.
If you get stuck on a floor, stop retrying it. Go back to your plot, improve your Luck and dice, and return stronger.
Your focus should shift over time:
| Stage | Focus |
|---|---|
| Early | Money and Luck |
| Middle | Better characters, dice, grades and traits |
| Later | Damage, Health and Tower |
What Update 11 added
Update 11 went live on November 1, 2026. Two of its features change how you should treat spare copies and potions.
Awakening makes a unit permanently stronger by using up a duplicate of it. You do it at the Awakening station in the hub, next to the Quirks station. The spare copy must match the unit's name, rarity and mutation, and neither copy can be placed on your base while you awaken. Each higher awakening level needs more copies and gives a bigger boost. It is not cheap. One guide's example shows a Diamond Huge unit costing $10B in Cash to go from x1.0 to x1.5 Income and Damage.
Potion Fusing combines lower-tier potions into a higher-tier one at the Potion Fusing station in the hub. It is a good use for potions you were never going to drink.
Awakening changes one old habit. Before you sell duplicates of a good unit, check whether they match its rarity and mutation. If they do, they may be worth more as awakening material than as Cash.
A community calendar also lists an Autumn Event from November 8 to November 11, 2026, starting and ending at noon Pacific time. Events like this have brought their own codes and rewards before, so check the game while it runs.
Mistakes to avoid
- Leaving plot slots empty.
- Spending rerolls on characters you will replace soon.
- Rebirthing before your income is ready.
- Selling a character without checking its mutation.
- Forcing a Tower floor your team cannot beat.
- Using scripts or auto-farm tools. They can get your account banned, and you do not need them.
Quick start checklist
- Redeem codes.
- Fill your plot.
- Buy Fire, then Water, then Nature.
- Focus upgrades on your top one or two earners.
- Save Lucky Spins and rerolls.
- Rebirth when your panel allows it and you can rebuild quickly.
- Start Tower once income is steady.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best dice in Anime Dice?
The best dice is the highest one you can afford with a full plot. Each new dice multiplies your Luck, so moving up steadily beats saving for a dice far beyond your current income.
Do you keep your characters when you rebirth in Anime Dice?
Community guides report that characters, Gems, Trait Rerolls, dice and upgrades stay, while Cash resets to zero. Read the warning in the Rebirth panel before confirming, since rules can change with updates.
Does Anime Dice earn money while you are offline?
Yes. The official game page confirms offline earnings, so place your best earners on your plot before you leave.
How do you get mutations in Anime Dice?
Mutations such as Gold, Diamond and Rainbow show up on characters as you roll them, so there is no separate menu to unlock them. Always inspect a character before you sell it, because a mutated copy can be worth far more than it looks, and it can also serve as awakening material for a matching unit.
When should I start the Tower in Anime Dice?
Start once your plot income is steady and every team slot is filled. Tower rewards Damage and Health, so if a floor stops you, go back to improving Luck and dice first.
What does Awakening do in Anime Dice?
Awakening uses a duplicate of a unit to raise that unit's stats for good. The spare must match its name, rarity and mutation, and you awaken at the Awakening station in the hub. Higher levels need more copies and more Cash.
Where do I enter Anime Dice codes?
Open the Shop from the button on the left, scroll to the bottom and paste the code in the Enter Code box. Each code works once per account, and our codes list shows which ones still work.
