Bee Swarm Simulator Beginner Guide

October 30, 2026 · 5 min read

On this page

Start Bee Swarm Simulator by claiming a hive, hatching your first bee, and collecting pollen in the fields near spawn. Turn that pollen into honey at your hive, then spend the honey on a better bag and tool. Do Black Bear's quests as you go. That is the whole early game loop, and every later system builds on it.

Prices and quest numbers below come from fan guides written in 2026. We did not find them on an official page, so if the game shows something different, trust the game.

Your first steps

  1. Claim a hive. Stand in front of an empty one, then place your Basic Egg in a slot to hatch your first bee.
  2. Walk to a field. You begin with a Scooper and a Pouch that holds 200 pollen.
  3. Collect until your bag is full. Your bee helps while you swing your tool.
  4. Go back to your hive and convert. Stand near it so your bees turn pollen into honey.
  5. Join the free Club. The Bee Swarm Simulator Club is required for some codes.
  6. Enter any working codes. Open the cog menu and use the code box on the System page. Each code works once per account.

Buy these upgrades first

The Scooper is the weakest tool, so replacing it is your first real goal. The Noob Shop is next to the Dandelion Field. One guide gives these prices:

Item Type Honey cost Notes
Jar Bag 650 Holds 750 pollen
Rake Tool 800 Early tool upgrade
Clippers Tool 2,200
Magnet Tool 5,500
Backpack Bag 5,500 Holds 3,500 pollen
Vacuum Tool 14,000
Canister Bag 22,000 Holds 10,000 pollen, adds 30% convert rate

A good order is Jar, Rake, Backpack, then Clippers or Magnet. A bigger bag means fewer trips back to the hive, which is why the Jar comes first.

Which fields to use

Five starter fields are free: Sunflower, Dandelion, Mushroom, Blue Flower and Clover. Quests will send you to most of them. When you have no quest pulling you elsewhere, try Clover Field, since its red, blue and white flowers suit a mixed early swarm.

Bigger flowers give more pollen per hit, so stay near them when you can.

Do Black Bear's quests

Black Bear stands to the right of the hives, in front of the Red Cannon. Do not skip him. One guide lists his first quests like this:

Quest Goal Reward
Sunflower Start 100 pollen from Sunflower Field 200 honey
Dandelion Deed 250 pollen from Dandelion Field 400 honey
Pollen Fetcher 500 pollen 500 honey
Red Request 600 red pollen 650 honey
Into The Blue 1,000 blue pollen 750 honey
Variety Fetcher 1,000 pollen each from Mushroom, Blue Flower and Clover Silver Egg

Another guide says his chain continues through Gold and Diamond Eggs and on to Star Jelly and a Mythic Egg, so keep going. Guides also suggest running Mother Bear and Brown Bear quests alongside his.

Fill your hive with bees

More bees means more pollen. Buy Basic Eggs with spare honey and put them in empty slots. Your hive starts with 25 slots, so you have plenty of room early.

Do not save for extra hive slots yet. The Mountain Top Shop sells more, up to 50, but two guides put the first extra slot at 3,000,000 honey. That is a long-term goal.

Royal Jelly and tickets

Royal Jelly turns a bee into a random different bee of Rare rarity or higher. Use it to upgrade your Basic Bees, and do not waste it on bees you already like. You can get it from Black Bear and Brown Bear quests, field tokens and the Royal Jelly Shop, which uses tickets.

Tickets come from fields, quests and codes. One guide calls the Royal Jelly Shop the best early use of tickets. Star Jelly is much rarer, and one guide says it always makes a bee Gifted. Save it for a Legendary or Mythic bee, not a Rare one.

Gates and bees to look for

New areas open when you own enough bees or a certain type of bee. They do not open with tickets. One guide lists these:

Gate Opens
5 Bee Gate Spider, Bamboo and Strawberry Fields, plus Panda Bear
Brave Bee Gate Pineapple Patch, Stump Field, Cactus Field
Honey Bee Gate Pumpkin Patch, Pine Tree Forest, Rose Field

So aim for 5 bees first, then chase a Brave Bee, then a Honey Bee.

Stay mixed early. One guide suggests picking a main color, red, blue or white, once you have about 15 bees. Before that, any bee helps, so do not worry about matching colors.

Fighting bugs

Ladybugs, Rhinos and Spiders drop honey, tickets and items. Once you have 5 bees, Panda Bear gives quests about defeating them. King Beetle and Tunnel Bear are much stronger bosses, so leave them until your swarm has real attack power.

Using boosts well

Many code rewards and field boosts start as soon as you claim or use them. Use them when you plan to stay and farm, not right before logging off.

Common mistakes

  • Staying on the Scooper and Pouch when cheap upgrades are available
  • Skipping bear quests
  • Saving honey for hive slots too early
  • Using Royal Jelly over and over to hunt one exact bee
  • Trusting sites that ask for your login or promise free items

You do not need Robux to get started. Keep filling your bag, keep finishing quests, and each new gate will come faster than the last.
