Blox Fruits Beginner Leveling Guide

October 30, 2026 · 4 min read

On this page

The fastest way to level in Blox Fruits is simple: always hold a quest for your level, fight enemies on the island that matches it, use 2x EXP codes when you sit down to play, and move on as soon as a better quest opens.

The Roblox game page lists the current level cap as 3000. There are three seas. You leave the First Sea at Level 700 and the Second Sea at Level 1500.

Start in the right order

  1. Pick a side. You choose Pirate or Marine when you load in, and you can choose again the next time you join. Do not stress over this choice as a new player.
  2. Redeem 2x EXP codes. Each boost usually lasts 15 to 30 minutes. See our Blox Fruits codes guide for the current list.
  3. Take the first quest. The compass icon points you to a quest for your level.
  4. Keep a quest active at all times. Quests can be repeated, so take the same one again until a better one opens.
  5. Spend your stat points. You get 3 points each level. Stats are explained below.

Which stats to choose

There are five stats: Melee, Defense, Sword, Gun and Blox Fruit.

One beginner guide suggests this split for Levels 1 to 100:

Stat Share of points
Blox Fruit (or your main weapon) 40%
Defense 30%
Melee 30%

Choose one main damage stat and do not spread points across Sword, Gun and Fruit. If you make a mistake, a stat reset code can fix it for free.

First Sea route (Levels 1 to 700)

Level ranges vary a little between guides, so treat these as close estimates.

Level Island Enemies
1-10 Starter Island Bandits, Trainees
10-30 Jungle Monkeys, Gorillas
30-60 Pirate Village Pirates, Brutes
60-90 Desert Desert Bandits, Desert Officers
90-120 Frozen Village Snow Bandits, Snowmen
120-150 Marine Fortress Chief Petty Officers
150-190 Lower Skylands Sky Bandits, Dark Masters
190-250 Prison Prisoners, Dangerous Prisoners
250-300 Colosseum Toga Warriors, Gladiators
300-375 Magma Village Military Soldiers, Military Spies
375-450 Underwater City Fishman Warriors, Fishman Commandos
450-625 Upper Skylands God's Guards, Shandas, Royal Squad, Royal Soldiers
625-700 Fountain City Galley Pirates, Galley Captains

Boats are available from the docks, and you can check the map billboard on the hub island to find your next stop.

Useful early purchases, using prices from a guide published in December 2025:

  • A sword from the Sword Dealer on the starter island, such as a Katana or Cutlass.
  • Air Jump, Haki and Flash Step from the Ability Teacher in Frozen Village, about 135,000 Beli in total. Haki lets you hit Elemental fruit users.

How to reach the Second Sea

  1. Reach Level 700.
  2. Go to Prison and talk to the Military Detective.
  3. Beat the Ice Admiral at Frozen Village.
  4. Go back to the Military Detective.
  5. Talk to the Experienced Captain in Middle Town to travel.

Second Sea route (Levels 700 to 1500)

Level Island
700-875 Kingdom of Rose
875-950 Green Zone
950-1000 Graveyard
1000-1100 Snow Mountain
1100-1250 Hot and Cold
1250-1350 Cursed Ship
1350-1425 Ice Castle
1425-1500 Forgotten Island

Level 1100 is a good time to start working toward awakenings, because one guide says you can host raids from that level.

How to reach the Third Sea

  1. Reach Level 1500.
  2. Defeat Don Swan in the Mansion area.
  3. Talk to King Red Head at the Colosseum on Kingdom of Rose to start the fight.
  4. Reduce Rip_Indra's health to half.

Guides describe the middle steps slightly differently, so follow the quest text in your game if it differs.

Third Sea route (Level 1500 and up)

Level Island
1500-1575 Port Town
1575-1700 Hydra Island
1700-1775 Great Tree
1775-1975 Floating Turtle
1975-2075 Haunted Castle
2075-2125 Peanut Land
2125-2200 Ice Cream Land
2200-2325 Cake Land
2325-2400 Chocolate Land
2400-2450 Christmas Island
2450-2600 Tiki Outpost
2600-2800 Submerged Island

The route guides we read stop at Level 2800, but the game now lists a cap of 3000. Use the compass to find the right quest above 2800.

Which fruit to level with

Light is the common First Sea pick, and Buddha is the common choice for the Second and Third Seas. Buddha's big hitbox and damage reduction make it strong for grinding. Our best fruits guide has more options by budget.

You do not need to buy a fruit right away. Fruits spawn on the map every hour and disappear after 20 minutes, and the Fruit Dealer restocks random fruits every 4 hours, according to the game's Roblox page. The Blox Fruit Gacha opens at Level 50.

Tips that save time

  • Take quests that give several levels. Guides name these as the fastest option when the risk of dying is low.
  • Do not chase First Sea bosses. They take time and can knock you out quickly. One guide says bosses award a fixed number of levels whatever your level is, so they can help later if one is already nearby.
  • Skip long side grinds if your goal is max level. Sea Events are better for money and fragments than for EXP.
  • Change islands early. If your quest takes too long, check whether a better one is available.
  • Stay away from exploits and scripts. The Roblox page warns that exploiters are detected automatically and that bans are not appealed.
