Your first goal is one safe delivery. Train Speed, break a nearby egg, carry the animal back past the guards, and place it in your Pen. A run only pays once the animal is placed, so a short route you can repeat beats a long one you keep losing.
Break and Steal an Egg is by ILGames x Eggs and launched on September 5, 2026. It is a separate game from Steal An Egg, which its own description credits as inspiration. Servers hold seven players (Roblox, checked October 30, 2026).
Most numbers below come from third-party guides written in October 2026, and those guides warn that values change. Trust the numbers in your own game first.
The core loop
The official Roblox page sums it up in five lines: break eggs, steal the animals and escape the guards, place them in your base to earn cash, upgrade speed and pickaxe, and fill the Index.
In practice, a run looks like this:
- Train on the Treadmill in the Safe Zone, in front of your base.
- Check the Speed requirement at the zone gate.
- Equip your Pickaxe and break an egg you can handle.
- Take the animal that hatches.
- Run back along your planned route, avoiding the guards.
- Place the animal in your Pen.
- Spend the cash on whatever slowed you down most.
Get your free stuff first
Two guides describe a free Sabertooth Egg. Join the ILGames x Eggs community, open the Shop in game, scroll to Community Rewards at the bottom, enter your exact Roblox username, and press Verify. It is described as a Legendary Egg with a Legendary Sabertooth inside. Those guides date to October 1, so the offer may have changed.
One guide also reports a free Speed claim of about +10K for liking and favoriting the game. It says to look for Free Rewards to the right of the Trails Shop. It may not appear for everyone. Claim it before you spend cash on training if you see it.
Which zone to go to
Bloxodes reported these early Speed checkpoints on October 3:

This is not a full zone list, and gates can change. Read the number at the entrance. Leave some Speed to spare when the route back is hard, since reaching an egg does not mean you can escape with it.
Stay in a zone until deliveries feel reliable, then push to the next one.
What to upgrade next
Do not buy at random. Look at what is stopping your run.

Do not forget to equip your Trail
Buying a Trail does not switch it on. Bloxodes says you need to open the Trail menu and equip it by hand, then return to the Treadmill. One reported example is a White Trail at $500 with a 2x boost. Compare the prices in your own shop, then buy the best one you can afford without leaving yourself short for the next Pickaxe.
Getting past the guards
Escaping is where most runs go wrong, and more Speed does not always fix it.
- Plan your route before you take the animal. Know your path home before you start.
- Watch how guards move for a run or two. Short routes make this easier to learn.
- Avoid detours. Dropping the animal or taking too long can cost you the whole run.
- Do not skip checking your Pen. Make sure the animal is actually placed before you run back out.
If you keep losing animals in one spot, change the route rather than repeating the same run.
Use the Index as a goal
The Index tracks what you have collected. After a delivery, open it and check for a reward. Guides say Speed or Cash rewards can show up there, but the amounts vary, so count on them only when you see the button. The Index also gives you a reason to return to older zones for animals you missed, which is safer than rushing into a zone you cannot handle.
Events
Titanic Eggs. One guide describes a countdown, a zone notification, a big egg to break, and a carry back to safety. You need enough Pickaxe power to break it, so check the in-game details before committing.
Halloween Merchant. Bloxodes listed these Candy Corn prices on October 19. It does not say when the event ends, so spend your candy soon.

For a new player, the cheap Treadmill and Cash boosts help the normal loop. Stock is limited, with only three Bone Crypt Eggs shown, so look at the count before saving up.
Spending Robux
Rotrends counted 94 developer products and no game passes on October 30, 2026. You will see many offers in game. None of them are needed to learn the loop, so wait until you know what is actually holding you back, and ask a parent or guardian before buying anything.
Avoid sites offering auto-steal scripts. They break Roblox's rules and put your account at risk.
A simple first hour
- Claim any free rewards you can see.
- Do three deliveries in Forest.
- Buy your first Trail and equip it.
- Train until you pass the Desert gate.
- Test one Desert run. If you lose the animal, go back and do more Forest runs or upgrade.
- Check the Index after every new animal.
