Sol's RNG Beginner Guide

Your early goals in Sol's RNG are simple: get rolling automatically, expand your storage, then craft luck gear. Save your best potions for good biomes. You roll for auras, craft gear from them, and drink potions to raise your luck. The official game page says there are more than 400 auras, so nobody collects them all quickly.
A word on accuracy: this game changes often, and fan guides disagree on many numbers. Where they disagree, we say so. If the game shows a different number, trust the game.
Your first ten minutes
- Click Roll a few times. Early rolls are mostly common auras. That is normal.
- Sort out auto rolling. Rolling by hand gets tiring fast. Two guides say joining the Sol's Studio Roblox community unlocks Auto Roll. A third calls it a Robux gamepass. Join the free group first and see if the option appears before you think about spending anything.
- Walk the island. Potions and coins appear around the map, and you will need both. Grab whatever you see.
- Find Jake's Workshop. Jake is the main crafting NPC, and you will come back here constantly.
- Talk to Lime and Jake. One guide says both give beginner quests that pay coins.
- Redeem any working code. Codes often give potion chests, which is a free head start. In the game, open the menu, then Settings, then Miscellaneous.
How luck works
Each aura has a rarity written as odds, such as 1 in 2 for the most common ones. Your luck stat improves your chances at rarer auras. Three things raise it most:
- Potions, which give a timed boost
- Gear, which gives a boost as long as it is equipped
- Biomes, which are timed world events that favor certain auras
Rolling more often also helps, because more rolls means more chances. Speed Potions and some gear shorten the wait between rolls.
Fix your storage early
Storage fills up quickly. One guide says you start with only 6 aura slots, and more can be bought at Jake's Workshop using coins from around the island. Two guides put storage near the top of the early to-do list.
One guide says a full inventory stops auto rolling, so check on it during long sessions. Another describes an Aura Filter that sets auras to skip or keep. If you have it, set it to skip commons you no longer need, then update it as you find new auras.
Potions
| Potion | What it does | What guides disagree on |
|---|---|---|
| Lucky Potion | Raises luck for a short time | Guides list 1 minute or 10 minutes, and +25% or +50% |
| Speed Potion | Shortens the time between rolls | Guides list 1 minute or 10 minutes |
| Heavenly Potion | A crafted potion for a much bigger boost | Guides describe its effect differently, so read the in-game text |
Do these things with potions:
- Pick up every potion you pass, since they spawn around the map.
- Stack them. One guide confirms potions can be stacked.
- Do not drink your strongest ones right away. Wait for a biome that helps.
- Look for Stella once you have some progress. One guide says finishing her quest unlocks advanced potion crafting.
Biomes
A biome is a short world event, and guides say the current one is shown on screen. Some auras are much more likely during their matching biome. A few examples from fan guides, all of which may have changed:
| Biome | What guides say |
|---|---|
| Windy | Shortens roll time |
| Rainy | Small luck boost |
| Starfall | Big luck boost, about 5x or more per one guide |
| Hell | Favors fire-themed auras |
| Corruption | Gives special Corrupted aura versions |
| Null | Removes outside luck boosts, per one guide |
| Glitched | Very rare, with a huge luck boost |
Here is the habit that matters most: hold your strong potions for a good biome, then spend that window rolling. Drink the potions just before the biome if you can, so you do not waste time. If a Null biome really does cancel boosts, do not use potions during it. Use the time to sort your inventory or craft instead.
Crafting your first gear
You craft at Jake's Workshop. Using an aura as a material destroys it, so read every recipe before confirming and do not throw away your only copy of something you like.
Guides agree on a rough early path, though exact recipes were not listed anywhere we could verify:
- Luck Glove. Named as a first goal by two guides. Check the workshop for the recipe.
- A Solar or Lunar Device. Guides name different ones here, so craft whichever the workshop offers and you can afford.
- Exo Gauntlet. Named by two guides as a major early milestone with a large luck boost.
One guide also suggests crafting the Item Collector early so pickups happen for you. We only saw that tip once, so treat it as optional.
Keep some duplicate auras rather than deleting everything. Fan guides say duplicates can be used as crafting material.
Daily habits
- Do daily quests and easier board quests for coins. One guide suggests starting with the 1 and 2 star quests.
- Check the biome timer when you log in.
- Use free private servers if you want better performance. The official game page says they are available.
- Watch the bottom corner for the time of day. Some auras only drop during day or night, per one guide.
Common mistakes
- Using potions at random. They are worth much more in a good biome.
- Ignoring storage. You run out of slots fast.
- Crafting away your favorite aura. Crafting materials are gone for good.
- Chasing the rarest auras too soon. Odds in the billions are endgame goals. Build up your gear and potions first.
- Falling for scams. Do not use scripts or auto-clicker downloads from strangers, and never give your password to anyone offering rare auras.
What to do next
Once you have your first gear and storage upgrades, set a small goal, such as your next piece of gear. Keep potions saved for biomes, check your quests, and let your rolls add up. This game rewards patience much more than any single trick.
