Blox Fruits Second Sea and Third Sea Progression Guide

Plan the Second Sea around one long quest chain, not just levels. You need level 1500, the full Colosseum quest, Don Swan and the rip_Indra scene before the Third Sea opens. Once there, level on the island order, buy your big fighting style and Haki upgrades on Floating Turtle, then return to the First Sea for the last 200 levels of the cap.
The official game page lists a level cap of 3000 and was last updated on October 22, 2026. Most guides were written when the cap was lower, so some of their numbers are old. We could not test any of this in game, and the Blox Fruits Fandom wiki refused our fetches, so we rely on outlets and fan pages. If a quest NPC or item menu says something different, trust the game.
The Third Sea gate, step by step
TheGamer's walkthrough (May 2025) has the most detailed route we could read. PCGamesN agrees on the main points.

Two things catch people out:
- Save a fruit for Trevor. Do not eat or trade away your last fruit worth 1,000,000 Beli or more before step 5. Check its value in your inventory.
- You can start before 1500. TheGamer gives no level for Bartilo's chain, but Beebom ties the Cafe Manager to level 850, so try it from around there. The first part pays 50,000 Beli and 3,500,000 EXP, according to TheGamer.
Conflict to know about. One fan guide says you unlock the Third Sea by beating the Awakened Ice Admiral at Ice Castle. TheGamer, PCGamesN and Roblox Den all point to the King Red Head and Colosseum route instead, so we follow that one.
What to finish before you leave
You will come back to older islands for some upgrades anyway, as PCGamesN notes, but these are easiest to line up while you are already here.

Beebom's fragment page gives these payouts, and they may have changed:
- Raid: 1,000 Fragments if you survive to the end with time left, 300 if the timer runs out.
- Sea Beast: 250 Fragments.
- Darkbeard: 1,500 Fragments.
Darkbeard is listed as level 1000 with 305,000 health. Beebom says Fist of Darkness comes from Second Sea chests or Sea Beasts, at a 2.5% rate from the beasts. That rate comes from one page only, so do not plan around it. Sea Beasts pay Fragments anyway, which makes them a sensible farm for both.
Finding the Legendary Sword Dealer. The Manager at the Cafe tells you if he has just been seen. Beebom says the Manager needs level 850 and the finished Colosseum quest. So Bartilo's chain unlocks your sword hunt as well.
Your first Third Sea route
You arrive at Port Town. The usual order after that:

Sources disagree on when Floating Turtle starts. Some say 1775 and others 1800. The compass icon points to a quest for your current level, so use it over any table, including this one.
PCGamesN also notes that bosses can award a set number of levels whatever your level, and that hopping servers to find them can be worth it when you sit between two islands.
Fruit for the grind. PCGamesN calls Buddha the best grinding fruit, with Magma as the next pick for area damage. It also warns that Buddha is not great for PvP or most boss fights. That ranking is PCGamesN's opinion, from when the cap was 2,600, and the fruit list has grown since. Swap before you farm a hard boss.
Why Floating Turtle matters most
Two of the biggest upgrades start on this island.
Godhuman (Ancient Monk). Beebom lists:
- Level above 1500
- 400+ Mastery on Superhuman, Death Step, Sharkman Karate, Electric Claw and Dragon Talon
- 5,000,000 Beli and 5,000 Fragments
- 10 Dragon Scales, 10 Mystic Droplets, 20 Fish Tails and 20 Magma Ores
Starting from nothing, Beebom totals the whole path at up to 20,400,000 Beli and 26,500 Fragments. That page is undated and Update 30 changed a lot in the First Sea, so check the Ancient Monk's own list before you farm.
Observation Haki V2, also called Instinct V2 (Hungry Man). Beebom lists:
- Level above 1800
- 5,000 dodges with your first Observation, which also earns a title
- The Musketeer Hat from the Citizen's quest
- 5,000,000 Beli
- An Apple, a Banana and a Pineapple to feed him
Roblox Den lists the Citizen's task as defeating 50 Forest Pirates and Captain Elephant, then later bosses. That dodge count is the slow part, so keep Observation on while you farm rather than saving it for later.
A fan guide puts Observation V2 at a Temple of Time on Hydra Island. Beebom and Roblox Den's NPC list say Floating Turtle, so go there first.
The last 200 levels are back in the First Sea
This is the part older guides miss. Update 30, released September 5, 2026, reworked the First Sea and added 40 Island Secrets. Each secret gives 5 Secret Levels, which raises your cap from 2800 to 3000, according to Dexerto.
A fan write-up of the wiki pages adds more detail. Treat it as second hand:
- Finishing a secret early still raises your personal cap right away, so you can do them at any level.
- Quest NPCs have a "Rumor" option with hints.
- Completing all 3 secrets on an island (Middle Town excluded) unlocks it as a teleport destination.
- Some "Awakened" secrets are tied to hourly bosses, and some spawns only count for one player.
- Finishing secrets is also the first requirement for the Advanced Combat fighting style.
Since the teleports save sailing time, it is worth clearing a few simple secrets on a return trip, even if you are nowhere near 2800.
Costs and rewards change with updates, so read the NPC dialogue before you spend.
