We cannot test codes in the game. "Active" means at least two independent pages updated in the last 60 days list the code as working. All three below appear on the community Fisch wiki and two other recent code pages.

Active codes

Code Reward Expires
FischFright2026 2,026 C$, 226 Treats, The Doomsekkar bobber, Jack-o-Statue lantern November 9, 2026, 16:00 UTC
SCARLET Scarlet skin December 15, 2026, 16:00 UTC
CARBON Carbon bobber No expiry listed

The Fisch wiki says FischFright2026 needs level 25 or higher, while another page lists no level requirement. If it fails on a new account, level up and try again before it expires.

Unconfirmed codes

None right now. Some pages still show ChapelTroubles, ThanksFor5B and TemporarySubmarine as active, but the wiki gives past expiry dates for them.

How to redeem

  1. Open Fisch and press the Menu button.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Codes section.
  4. Enter the code and press Enter.

Codes are not case-sensitive, according to the wiki. Each works once per account.

Where new codes are posted

Check the official Fisch Discord server, the official X account (@fischonroblox) and the Fisching group on Roblox. Many codes are short-lived. One tracker notes that weekly codes usually arrive with Saturday updates and can expire in about a day, so check after 16:00 UTC on Saturdays.

How fishing works

There are three steps to every catch:

  1. Cast. Hold click or touch and hold the screen until the meter looks right, then release. This sets how far the bobber goes.
  2. Shake. Keep pressing the Shake button while you wait. It moves after each press, and each shake takes 0.5 to 1.5 seconds off the wait. Clicking outside the button cancels fishing by default, so turn on "Allow Shake Button Misclicking" in settings if you keep missing it.
  3. Reel. Hold to move the white bar right and let go to move it left. Keep the fish inside the bar until the progress meter fills. If you never lose progress, you get a perfect catch worth 10 C$ and 50% more XP.

Your first hour

You start on Moosewood with the Flimsy Rod, which has 0% Luck and can only hold fish up to 10.4 kg. Your first goal is 2,000 C$ for the Carbon Rod.

  • Fish from the Moosewood pier rather than the pond. Beginner guides report the pond gives mostly Common and Uncommon fish.
  • Sell your catches early. Money is worth more in a rod now than in storage.
  • Use your code C$ toward the rod.
  • Skip bait and cosmetics until you have your upgrade.

Which rod to buy

These rods are sold at the shop in Moosewood Village, according to the wiki:

Rod Price Worth buying?
Training Rod 300 C$ Skip it and save up
Plastic Rod 750 C$ Skip it and save up
Carbon Rod 2,000 C$ Best first target: 25% Luck, 15% Lure Speed, 600 kg limit
Fast Rod 4,000 C$ Look at its stats before buying
Lucky Rod 4,500 C$ Look at its stats before buying

The Carbon Rod's limit is the big change. Going from 10.4 kg to 600 kg gives you room for much heavier fish. The CARBON code gives a bobber, not this rod.

Do not confuse early rods with long-term goals. Once you have the Carbon Rod, look at the stats in the shop and buy based on Luck for rarer fish, or Control if you keep losing the reeling minigame. Control widens the white bar, which makes every catch easier.

Using bait

Bait is optional. Equip it from your Equipment Bag before you cast. You lose a bait when it catches a fish, so save the good ones for fish you actually want. Each fish prefers certain baits, and Preferred Luck only applies to those fish. For example, Worm has 75% Preferred Luck and Shrimp has 95%.

You can get bait from crates, challenges, Angler quests and some codes.

Getting off the island

Boats come from NPCs called Shipwrights, and you must be at least level 5 to talk to them. Prices differ between guides, so check the Shipwright's menu rather than trusting one number. Beginner guides point new players to Roslit Bay as a good next stop for rarer fish after they have the Carbon Rod.

Moosewood also has an Appraiser for your fish, and a Shipwright area that sells Basic Diving Gear for 3,000 C$.

Quick tips

  • Stay in a good spot for a while rather than swapping servers constantly.
  • Use the Stats menu to see your total catches and snapped lines.
  • Never run auto-fishing scripts. They break Roblox's rules and can lose you your account.
